    Maria LaRocca,

I just read your current edition of “Broken Ink” and I was blown away. Actually I have never read “Broken Ink” before and am so impressed with the essays, poems, and photographs. My congratulations to Amy Agnel for her poem, “Sand River”. For all of the lovers of Hitchcock Woods, this is a special poem. I like all of the captions explaining the background and/or inspiration for the works included. “Kota”, is an absolutely wonderful painting. Lauren Jones captured the the dog’s nature so well. “The Hand of My Father”, what can I say, a powerful sensitive essay. Congratulations, Rebecca Barnwell. “Smells Like a Beer”, Robin Kronberg, what a unique, unusual photo. I’ve been there and the mike does smell like a beer after awhile. Elizabeth Fonte, your photo of your dad and what you captured is so special. Thanks for sharing this. Well, I’ll be sure to pick up “Broken Ink” again in the future and look forward to the next edition. The entire edition and everything included was amazing, although I had to highlight my favorites. Keep up the good work.
